WaveSimD
It emulates a complete PPG Wave; that means, this simulation consists of a simulated 6809 processor with a simulation of practically all peripheral chips that runs the original PPG software. This way, WaveSimD is nearly 100% compatible to an original PPG Wave.

Synnah
"Sinnah the sinner, is its sin to be free, or is its sin to sound so lush?"
Sinnah is a synth based on a single complex oscillator that includes five waveshapes with increasing spectral complexity, harmonics level for all waveshapes, noise level, and a delay matrix.
The delay matrix can have various configurations, from a "triple chorus" per voice to highly randomized resonators, or tuned relatively to the note played.
The delay matrix can also do multiple slapback echoes.
The feedback control of the matrix can go from zero to extremely saturated and it's modulated by its own envelope.
The output of each voice is stereo via the delay matrix, which features a stereo spread knob.
The main analogue modelled ADSR envelope is loopable: two, three or continuous repeats.
The envelope can modulate the waveshape selection and the harmonics level.
The synth also features a subtractive stereo filter to carve the spectrum of the sound, somehow like an equalizer, with three filters: high pass, low pass and band reject (notch) .
The band reject filter also features gain and bandwidth controls.
Moreover a useful simple reverb is included.
Sinnah is a VA synth plugin, but instead of the standard subtractive resonant filter it uses a resonant delay network.
Hard to describe its sound by words, despite the few controls the array of possible sounds is wide and wild.

Exotic
Exotic is a 2 oscillator hybrid synth featuring a drawable oscillator.
The swedish developers JB and CPS have been released a small synth with two oscillators with 16 waveforms, two envelopes and LFOs, three effects (chorus, reverb and decimator) and one filter section with three different filter modes(LP, HP, BP). Additionally there’s a fatner to create sounds more wide and fat. The sounds are specificated for Melbourne Bounce and EDM styles.http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?plugin=Exotic&id=2416
Phazor
Phazor is a free effect plugin, which emulates the phaser effect found in the Virus synthesizers, which helped make its characteristic sound. A lot of time was devoted to make it sound very close to the original and every control has been carefully adjusted to behave just like the phaser from the Virus. It has selectable 1 to 6 stage all-pass filters controlled by an LFO, with spread and feedback controls. The plugin is highly optimized and its CPU usage is minimal, allowing for multiple instances to be used in a project.

HY-MBDrive
HY-MBDrive, a free multiband drive VST effect plug-in for 32- and 64-bit Windows.
You can set drive, pan, stereo width, volume per band. Also you can choose a drive algorithm.

Multiband Stereo Image Modifier Lite
Using Multiband Stereo Image Modifier Lite you can freely change the sense of space, in 3 different frequency-ranges. Mid/Side mode optimalizes the audio sign. You can change the volume or stereo image with the Mid/Side volume functions.
Graphic frequency range handler interface: It can manage 3 different frequency ranges. The overlay of the different ranges can be changed with the vertical white lines. The ranges are colour-coded. When used, the vectorscope shows the stereo images of the ranges, and therefore you can see on the graphic display if the sense of space is correct.
Side volume: Adds to the sense of space. In middle-state there is no change. Pushing the slider up the sign changes to mono, pushing it down adds to the sense of space. Deafult value is 128.
Mid volume: Changes the volume of the mid-channel Useful function, because it lowers the middle sounds’volume – like the kickdrum or the vocal zone. Default volume is 256.
Volume: All 3 frequency-ranges’ volume can be changed separately.
Modifier on/off: In off mode the switch turns off all the effects in the program.
Band buttons: These buttons are used to turn on and off the different frequency-ranges. When turned off, it turns off the whole stream of signs from the ranges – meaning that both effects and the original sign will be turned off. In this state the frequency-ranges’ interface can’t be seen, therefore it’s easy to tell which range is on or off.

PG8X
It is inspired by the JX8P and I am trying to capture as much of it's character as possible. The "working title" for it is PG8X, trying to merge the names of the progammer PG-800 and JX-8P without coming into conflict with copyrighted names.
The first impression of the new PG8X is amplified by the gorgeous looking GUI that was made by KVR Audio forum member ENV1. The interface looks beautifully retro and provides quick access to all of the available control parameters in a single panel, which is always a big plus for virtual synthesizers. But all of that visual beauty pales in comparison to PG8X’s sound – the organic, warm and rich sound that one still can’t obtain from most virtual synthesizers nowadays, free or commercial. The secret of PG8X’s sound is in the filter section, in our opinion. The synth’s brilliantly coded VCF saturates and warms up the sound produced by the oscillators, resulting in that authentic 80s sound that will remind you of the soundtracks of old VHS cartoons and movies.

Tritik has just released Krush, an awesome freeware multi-effect (bitcrusher, clipper and multi-mode filter) in VST and AU plugin formats for PC and Mac based digital audio workstations.
What you get with Krush is a trio of distortion flavors (clipper, bitcrusher and a downsampler), paired up with a resonant multi-mode filter (high-pass and low-pass modes with a 20 Hz – 20 kHz frequency range), dry/wet signal level sliders for easy parallel processing and a great little modulation section which sets this multi-effect apart from the dozens of free bitcrushers out there.
All of this is packed in a fully resizable user interface (drag the handle in the bottom-left corner to adjust the size of the GUI to your liking) with an intuitive control layout and some handy bonus features such as the modulation amount display on the knobs (the modulated range of a parameter turns yellow). CTRL+drag increases the precision when adjusting a parameter and a double-click resets its value. You can also freeze any parameter so that loading a new preset doesn’t overwrite its current value.
The amount of distortion, bitcrushing and downsampling, as well as the filter’s cutoff frequency and resonance amount, can be modulated by an LFO with a choice of four different waveforms (sine wave, triangle, square and noise). The LFO can run freely (0.01 Hz to 10 kHz), or in sync with the host program.

U-he Podolski
Podolski is a simple, CPU-efficient virtual analogue synthesizer.
Basically a cut down version of FilterscapeVA with just one oscillator,
one filter, one envelope and two LFOs, it also features a Zebra-style
arpeggiator/sequencer plus chorus and delay effects.
Podolski's specialities are the Click parameter (emphasizes the filter attack) and its ability to seamlessly morph between three waveforms (WaveWarp).
Podolski has been refurbished with some new presets by Howard Scarr, has undergone a GUI makeover (two new skins) and supports a wider range of plug-in formats.

U-he Triple Cheese
Triple Cheese is a unique-sounding freeware synthesizer plugin. Triple
Cheese doesn't use any of the classic synthesis techniques –
substractive, FM or additive – but various forms of comb filter i.e.
very short chromatically tuned delays. The three cheese modules in a row
either generate their own signal, or process the output of the previous
module.

Krakli K200 FM Synthesizer
K200, a 4 operator FM synthesizer (with 52 algorithms!)
Krakli’s latest freeware instrument is a 4 operator FM synthesizer, packed in a slightly unusual looking but actually rather user friendly interface.
The included set of factory patches crafted by Armin Kujashi features some lovely sounding bells, pads, and most of the other classics you’d expect to hear in an FM synth. The real fun begins when you start tweaking those patches (or building your own from scratch).
Other notable features include a multi-mode filter (LPF, BPF and HPF) with a filter envelope, a master tune knob and octave switch, pitch bend amount knob, portamento, mono/poly switch and MIDI learn support. The synthesizer also includes two built-in effects: a simple reverb module and a nice sounding chorus.
